Many wrongly believe Quidditch to be a sport for unathletic, nerdy kids. The truth is that this modified form of rugby is filled with some of the most athletic students at Boston's Emerson College, and the team is even considered to be some of the highest ranking student athletes at the university. While many of Emerson's standard athletics (basketball, volleyball, etc.) rank at Division III, EC Quidditch ranks nationwide at Division II. These athletes come from backgrounds of soccer, tennis, and more, and the co-ed sport pushes inclusivity and teamwork while fostering intense competition.
